If I understand correctly, fasting helps to cure CML because it will make dormant leukemic stem cells active again and the TKI will kill them.
Question: If a person is taking Imatinib and being undetected for two years, could stopping the medication for one week awake the dormant cells and restarting the imatinib kill them? Could this method be used since fasting is not an option when taking Imatinib?
