Shiitake Mushrooms ...

"The researchers observed increased ex vivo proliferation of γδ-T cells and natural killer (NK) T-cells (60 percent and two-fold increase, respectively; both P < 0.0001) with four weeks of mushroom consumption."

Natural killer T cells are the ones which fight cancer. Eating shiitake mushrooms often (daily) enhances NK T-cell action which may help in our fight against CML as well as other cancers.

(I use 7-10 mushrooms diced and sauteed in a bit of butter and used as a condiment with veggies as well as in soups. They taste great and has since become a habit)

I believe it. Mushrooms are crazy. Thank you for sharing!

I had the same question, so I dug around and found that shiitake mushrooms are often fine in moderation unless your doctor specifically advises against them. I’ve also been trying to support my immune system naturally and started looking into mushroom blends from https://gomicromagic.com/ . They include things like reishi and lion’s mane, and I’ve felt okay using them while on TKI, but I always double-check with my doc.
