New series of videos about "Understanding CML"

Over the last few months we have been making a series of 16 videos about CML, from the worries at diagnosis to what a stem cell transplant might mean.

Hi David, thank you, i have been watching a couple of these videos every day, they certainly are informative, and therefore not so scary, much better to have the facts!
Ive had quite a rocky road since being diagnosed in June2024, and despite very recent gallbladder surgery i seem to be tolerating Scemblix well, future results will hopefully confirm this.
There is still a lot i dont understand but short Vids like these dont overload an already anxious head!
Please keep them coming.
Best wishes.

Hi Amanda,

I’m absolutely delighted to hear this. It’s exactly the tone we were going for - good amount of information, delivered by experts in a friendly way and to be understandable to patients. We really wanted them to be useful, without overloading or being overly technical. It was a fine balance!

Hi David

i have watched around half of the videos and they are extremely informative. I have read a fair bit about CML since being diagnosed and from a personal perspective I found these videos helped me to understand CML far better than from reading articles. Thanks so much to everyone involved in putting these together, they are an invaluable resource

Hi David

I think this is a great initiative - thank you so much! Having watched some of the videos I can honestly say that they would have helped me a lot when first diagnosed. They're informative, to the point and interesting.

Best wishes

Martin

Thanks Martin! Good to get your feedback. We really tried to make them short, to the point, friendly, and not overwhelming.

We plan to make a few more over the coming months such as drug / drug and drug / food interactions, fertility and a few more.

David.
