After 3 years on IMATINIV 400 doc shifted to PONATINIB 15mg and is now BCR-ABL 0.000 not detected. But my HBA1C and blood pressure are getting wild and it’s 7.3 and 150/95 after taking SITAGLIPTIN, METFORMIN, GLIMPERIDE. What’s the way out of this situation. Should I ask doc to reduce the PONATINIB dose.

I believe 2 of your meds are broke down by your liver, sitagliptin and glimperide. it could be your liver is having a harder time ridding your body of the ponatinib {broken down by your liver} so the ponatinib hangs around for a longer time in your body. 10 mg a day may be plenty for you. and maybe you and your doc could discuss accepting a lower bcr/abl for sake of your liver and pancreas and other organs.
