Hi I’m currently on 300mg imatinib. Looking to start to take some supplements
Turmeric, Ginger, and Black Pepper
Lion’s Mane Focus+ and Ashwagandha Calm+
I was just wondering if there is any website that gives information on supplements with imatinib.
My haematologist doesn’t seem to want to comment on supplements and only advice is to get supplements from uk company. However, i would like to get more information as I don’t want to start taking supplements that could affect imatinib from working.

please excuse my 1-finger typing. I am a dinosaur.
I believe many supplements have helped me with my blood values and side effects.

there is a "drug interaction checker" site that I find very helpful. type in imatinib and your supplement.

also, the imatinib is broken down by the liver enzyme cyp3a4, and I check to see how the supplement is broken down, is the med's breakdown sped up, slowed down,or unaffected by supplement. will tki imatinib side effects improve or maybe get worse.

I found differing opinions on turmeric/curcumin, quite a few of the supplements I take. some I take 1/2 doses, some I take mega doses. after my own research.
I did take all supplements you mention while on imatinib and dasatinib, still do now on scemblix.
I pecked at my primary doc to check my vit d level. yearly.

I find AI becoming more helpful. for example, when on dasatinib, my face swelled up a bit a year ago. I looked up "supplements that mimic dasatinib" so I could lower the dose to 20mg.. AI answered, named 4 or 6 supplements I was taking, studies done on these supplements in Asia.
I have done well blood value-wise on lesser med tki-med doses than pharmacy suggests. with the oncologist's knowledge.

please,no need to respond. and I will gladly answer a question if able.

my able/bcr results have been good for past 2 years. but I believe I have sacrificed the results being better sooner, taken supplements that have slowed the tki's work, in order to not deal with side effects that prevented me from living my life. I chose to feel ok vs having a great PCR test. and the doc knew it.

bcr/able, not what is in my note,able/bcr.
I believe AI changed my words.
